Stage 3 – Strathblane to Kilsyth

Today felt like final gasp of summer. The sun was shining and there was barely a cloud in the sky. Walking along the Strathkelvin Railway path, through fields and train tunnels, across burns and farmland with the Campsies for company on the left was blissful.

The final section of this stage takes you to the Antonine Wall, the northern frontier of the Roman Empire (thanks to a bit of history home schooling with Rhys earlier this year I had some idea what I was looking at). Was met here by my trusty pair of my charioteers to finish.

Heading towards 50 miles…
